The minimum charge on one-off work is £67. Parking or congestion charges, where a visit needs them, are added at cost. Every end of tenancy clean includes the 48-hour re-clean: if the inventory clerk marks down something we cleaned, we come back and put it right free.

How the borough changes the job
Southwark's housing refuses to settle into one type. There are Georgian townhouses in squares like Trinity Church Square and West Square, nearly all of them cut into flats at some point, with the original staircases and floorboards still in place. There are very large post-war estates through Walworth and along the Old Kent Road corridor. And there is a decade of new-build towers at Elephant Park, on Bankside and facing the river. A cleaner who only knows one of those three is slow in the other two.
Parking is the daily headache. The council runs 31 separate controlled parking zones covering roughly 60 per cent of the borough, and no two of them keep the same hours. West and South Walworth are controlled Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:30pm. The Bermondsey zone runs Monday to Sunday, 8:30am to 11pm, which catches out anybody booking an evening job in the streets off Tower Bridge Road on the assumption that the bays go free after six. The northern half of the borough also sits inside the Congestion Charge zone and every part of it is in the ULEZ, so a van crossing up from Walworth into Borough on a weekday needs planning before anyone picks up a cloth.
We start early where we can. Borough Market's trading and delivery cycle chokes the streets between Southwark Street and Borough High Street through the middle of the day, so an 8am slot in the SE1 core around Borough High Street is worth an hour of sitting behind a lorry at noon. Further south the rhythm is different again, and September is the pinch point around Elephant and Castle, because London South Bank University and the blocks near it empty and refill inside a fortnight.

How much is an end of tenancy clean in Southwark?
£156 for a studio, £207 for one bedroom, £243 for two, £339 for three and £425 for four. That is the whole property, and the price is fixed before we start. If you want the oven done as well it is £31 more, and carpets are priced on top.
Do you charge more for evenings or weekends?
No. The rate is the same seven days a week, 8am to 7pm. There is no Saturday surcharge and no call-out fee.
Is there a minimum charge?
£67 on one off work. Most jobs clear it comfortably. A single bedroom carpet on its own would not, so we would say that on the call rather than after.
Do I need to be at home?
No. Most of our regular customers leave a key with us or fit a key safe, and on move out cleans the agent usually holds the key.
